Second Opinions

Having your diagnosis and course of treatment evaluated by another expert is often very reassuring. We are happy to offer second opinions on care you are receiving at another center. We believe it is important for you to feel comfortable and informed when making decisions about your fertility treatment. If you are looking to gather more information about your diagnosis or treatment options, a second opinion can be a great resource.

What Happens During a Second Opinion Consultation?

During a second opinion consultation, you and Dr. Kelly will:

  • Review your medical history and previous diagnostic testing results

  • Assess whether additional diagnostic testing is necessary  

  • Evaluate treatment recommendations from your current fertility care provider

  • Discuss whether your current fertility treatment plan is appropriate or if there are other treatment options that would better match your unique situation and goals  

Having a second opinion will equip you with valuable information to help you analyze your current fertility treatment plan. You may ultimately decide to continue with your current treatment plan, or you may decide to shift course. In either case, our team is available to be your sounding board as you go through that process. Many times a second opinion is reassuring to know that your evaluation was complete and the treatment course you are on is appropriate for you.
